Dinner At My Place

How can a dinner party help the work of Twenty10?

Many young people of diverse genders and sexualities are feeling isolated and lacking places they feel safe to be themselves. Twenty10 provides a place for these young people to come during the day and access the support they need. Our busy drop-in centre does not receive government funding and a cold winter has made this drop-in service even busier than usual.

You can help us to raise the funds to run this program: Host a fabulous dinner. Tell your guests about Twenty10. Ask them to make a tax deductible donation. That's what we call Dinner At My Place.

Yes, I want to host a Dinner At My Place!

Hooray! We are asking people to host dinners any time between now and Christmas.

Really all you need to do is start planning a dinner! But to turn your dinner into a fundraising opportunity for Twenty10, you just need to register your dinner at our Dinner At My Place Fundraising Page. You can create a personalised page and set up an e-mail invitation to your friends.

You will find some helpful downloads once you have built your fundraising page, but if you can't wait till then, you can also download them below.

Get cooking!

What your dinner looks like (and tastes like) is really up to you. It is a great chance to get creative and hold a dinner party that is special for you and your guests. Here is one of our dinner organiser's take on dinner... they made this video for their invitations and fundraising page:
