A tank full of workshops, performance, art, music, and discussions to explore with other young 'fish' of diverse genders and sexualities. An opportunity to really sink in and soak up the atmosphere. Come dive in, it's a safe place to swim! It's going to be a full day faux-underwater adventure, so make sure you book your place.

Coming Out - Options, Stereotypes and Sharing Experiences
This workshop is an exploration of disclosing your sexuality to other people. It will cover the practicalities of coming out, including issues of timing, safety and consequences. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to share their stories, both the good and the bad, so that we can all learn from each others' experiences.

Pillow Talk- A workshop on sex and ethics
This session is an opportunity to explore personal boundaries and communication in sexual settings. An understanding of these ideas keeps you and your partner safe and can help to achieve a happy and fulfilling sex life, however you want that to look.

Chub Love- A Guide to Fat Love and Body Positivity -From a Fat Femme's Perspective
A workshop on accepting our bodies whatever size, shape, gender or sexuality. Focusing on self awareness, flaunting what you have, getting comfortable in your body, sexual empowerment for queer folks of size and the erotic potential of size, celebrating diversity of the physical, the politics of size, info sharing on radical fat activism , art and performance. Create a body positive visibility within the queer (and greater) community.

Youth Activism
This workshop is designed to engage you with the campaign and policy work of the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby. In it you will discuss the current campaigns of anti-discrimination legislation, civil marriage equality and adoption reform . Discuss how best to make sure you are represented in these campaigns and make sure that your voices are heard!

Hot Pants- A 'short shorts' film festival + Creating Space STUDIO 2 (all day)
Throughout the day some of the best films from the London Transgender Film Festival Collated by Col Cruise and other amazing GLBTQI films donated by the amazing artists, these will be shown in a very unique Aqueerium chillout zone complete with all your favourite pool toys. Also in the chill out zone creating space! Make your own badge, or get involved in an exciting zine project, which will end in a collaborative souvenir zine. Is it a boy or a girl? Or what? A workshop for all people interested in thinking/ playing/ exploring/ scheming/ dreaming/ messing/ tidying gender. Discover your inner Drag King or Queen as you are encouraged to drag it out through performative exercises. Develop your very own drag character. After realising you have a whole other personality get ready to create a group drag performance. For those brave enough to bring it to the stage you will have a chance to perform together later that night!

Stitch n Botch
A crafting session of the queerer kind. Turn your hand to subversive cross-stitch and dirty embroidery. Stitch up accessories or bodgy together an outfit. Sew some frills on your knickers or hammer together some leather (vegan options available). There'll be some structured projects available or come dig through the materials stash for inspiration. Bring your ideas, or any old projects that need a new lease of life. Materials supplied.

Right near registration is a Dress-up Booth which should satisfy your every costuming desire! Feel free to try things on and/or wear them all day long. Alternatively dress-up and/or make a sign for thisisoz and get your photo taken.
This Is Oz is about celebrating diversity and challenging homophobia and making Australia a place where everyone belongs. This Is Oz is an online photo gallery where you can help spread the word about GLBTQI rights by uploading an image of yourself with your message and encouraging friends and family to do the same!
