Our QLife volunteers provide telephone and web peer support, information and one-off support
QLife Telephone and Web Chat Volunteering
Our QLife Peer Supporter volunteers provide one-off, basic telephone or web chat peer support and information to LGBTIQA+ callers, their friends, family and the wider community through the national QLife program. Twenty10 is the New South Wales state partner for QLife.
Volunteers must be over 18.
As the program uses a peer support model, we require volunteers to identify as LGBTIQA+.
All volunteers train for telephone roles, and some volunteers can choose to train for web chat as well.
The best thing about being a phone volunteer is being able to connect with the wonderfully varied and appreciative LGBTIQA+ family and therefore to be a part of that amazingly resilient and diverse community
